James Dimmock is not a man to rest on his laurels, highlighted from the start of his career, when, having been a week out of his Photography degree he moved to London and started assisting Nick Knight. Throughout this time James’s own style of photography saw him attract his own clientele and after two years decided to branch out on his own and has never looked back with his work and client base growing continually.
His professional style and talent have resulted in his work gracing the covers of numerous magazines including GQ, GQ Sport, GQ Germany, The Face, Esquire, Arena, Entertainment Weekly, Spin, Rolling Stone and Q, as well as contributing to Esquire, GQ (UK & US), GQ Style, Project Magazine, 125, Intersection, Interview and Flaunt among many others.
James portraiture work is renowned and his ability to capture people at their very best has seen him maintain an enviable client list, shooting some of the biggest names in the world of sport, film and music including Steve Buscemi, Eric Bana, Orlando Bloom, Scarlett Johansson, Ewan McGregor, Tobey Maguire, Will Smith, Sir Ben Kingsley, Thierry Henry, David Beckham, George Michael, Robbie Williams, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Michael Buble, Pink, U2, Kanye West, Gwen Stefani, The Killers and Elton John, among others!
